In 2021 I have decided to extend Gravel biking particularly in Winter time and on bad or wet days. I always took my BMC Teamelite. I soon decided to get a Gravel bike for this type activity, and I started to compare the characteristics and parts of such bikes. I then came to the conclusion to extend my bike park by new hardtail bike, as I wanted to ride on slightly thicker tires, to pass also trickier sections (where a fork with a suspension is really nice), and I wanted to grip an almost 80cm handle bar with direct access to the brake levers, and not a curly handle bar which indeed puts you often in an aerodynamic, but definitely less comfortable position. So in May 2022 I bought - with little surprise - another BMC, a Twostroke. As availabilities for bikes have significantly come down (as a results of the supply difficulties from Corona and all that), I was able to find one of the last ones in Switzerland in Bischofszell in canton Thurgau. Due to restricted supplies, there was no discount, no sale, whatsoever. For the last two BMCs (Fourstrokes) I received a significant reduction of the official price.
So this is the new Gravel bike, and there are some plans what do achieve with it…
