The Tortour Gravel is a 3-stage race which most cyclist do with a cyclocross. A handful of racers did it with a Mountain Bike like me. Daniel Steiger and myself were the team Inside Passengers. This team category included some more famous riders like Elmiger and Tyler Hamilton… So the ranking was not the motivation. The preparation for this race is quite tricky. You have to expect cold, even wet weather with potentially snow sections, and lots dirt and mud. Eventually, we had some of it like icy and snow sections, stronger wind, but it was fairly warm. We were not completely lucky, as we had to fix three flat tires in two days. But it was a great experience at a great event.
