Third Transruinaulta, and it was the toughest…
Transruinaulta Trailrun from Ilanz to Thusis; 42km / Elevation 1800Hm.
Half way I felt terrible (I was hungry, so I ate, but it did not taste well… my hips and foot hurt, so it was a fight against myself), but I was able to make it. The weather was a little wet, but hardly any rain.
Eventually, my running time was 4:42.27 which was 14 min more that last year. This was good for rank 39 out of 142 runners in 'over 40‘ category; total rank 83 out of 300. Daniel was 12 min faster than me, which was good for rank 5 in 'over 55‘ category!
