Post Christmas holidays 2018, 26 December to 31 December:
It was a quite spontaneous decision of the families Bruttel and Kurth to spend a few days in Iceland when the sun is at its lowest. Well, one of the main reasons was to see the northern lights, but we were unlucky, as the weather was poor at nights (and also partly at daytime) and the aurora borealis were not very active… But we all enjoyed the experience and came all to the same conclusion that we should go there again, possibly at a different season of the year.
Tim arranged a video based on his dji drone flights. It shows very well the dusky lights. These are incredible pictures and you may see the family Bruttel and Kurth, but it is not easy. Enjoy! link
